Danny Shamess is Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been singing and playing a wide variety of instruments since an early age.
With a long list of influences, Shamess’ music blends several genres including jazz, folk, rock and blues.
His original music has been featured internationally and Shamess has performed across the globe, in venues ranging from music festivals, nightclubs, lounges and outdoor festivals to VIP functions, corporate events and cruise liners.
Shamess has shared the stage with artists including Grammy Award Winner JJ Grey & Mofro, Juno Award Winner Crystal Shawanda, Finger Eleven, David Wilcox, Bill Priddle (Treble Charger, Broken Social Scene). He also has performed a cover of Grammy Award wWinner Ben Harper’s Platinum-hit song “Diamonds on the Inside”, to which he responded, “Absolutely fantastic… it’s actually better than my version!!”.
